The ICTHC 2011, is to bring together innovative academicians and industrial experts in the field of Electronic health records, Knowledge engineering, E-Health Information, Information Management, Expert Systems, Information Technology, Communication System, ICT in health promotion programmes to a common forum. ICTHC 2011 will be held during Dec 15-16, 2011 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Information Technology in Health sector and to provide a common forum for the dissemination and sharing of knowledge, information and experience among the researchers, developers, doctors, students, practitioners working all over the world. The conference will be held every year as a continuing activity to enable the dental science scholars, to further their research and academics.

All the accepted and registered research papers shall be published by the IDES-CPS (both print and CD media) and shall be indexed in the SEARCH Digital Library and will be submitted to possible indexing in all the major indexing services like DBLP, EI, IET Inspec, Scopus, Google etc..

Assosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia Adakan Rakernas IBKS 2011 di UAD

Minggu (24/07/2011), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) Yogyakarta mewadahi Rapat Kerja Nasional (RAKERNAS) para pengurus Assosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia (ABKIN). RAKERNAS yang diadakan oleh divisi Ikatan Bimbingan dan Konseling Sekolah (IBKS) ini berlangsung di Ruang Sidang Skripsi Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) di Kampus UAD II, Jl. Pramuka, No.42, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta.

RAKERNAS yang diikuti oleh 8 peserta dari beberapa daerah (Bandung, Jakarta, Cirebon, Bandar Lampung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Salatiga, Gresik–Jatim) ini, para pengurus ABKIN (Asosiasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Indonesia) divisi Ikatan Bimbingan dan Konselin Sekolah (IBKS) merumuskan beberapa hal yang tujuannya untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan pendidik dan peserta didik di persekolahan pada umumnya, dan bidang pendidikan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di sekolah maupun di tingkat khususnya.

“Harapan kami adalah, RAKERNAS IBKS ini mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya di dunia pendidikan. Kami berharap dengan adanya RAKERNAS ini, akan lahir perubahan-perubahan stigma dalam dunia kependidikan. Kami mencoba merevisi Anggaran Rumah Tangga (ART) dari masing-masing program yang terbengkelai. Alhamdulillah beberapa poin sudah terselesaikan, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala dan akan menjadi Pekerjaan Rumah (PR) kami dalam pertemuan berikutnya.” papar Drs. H Amdani Sarjun, M.Pd. yang menjadi Ketua Umum IBKS sekaligus kontingen dari wilayah Bandar Lampung.

Dalam sejarah berdirinya ABKIN, UAD menjadi PTS (Perguruan Tinggi Swasta) pertama yang menyelenggarakan kegiatan bertaraf Nasional. Sebelumnya semua kegiatan difokuskan pada Perguruan Tinggi Negri (PTN).

“Kami sangat bersyukur ABKIN divisi IBKS mempercayai BK UAD menjadi tuan rumah dalam RAKERNAS. Ini adalah eksistensi kami sebagai fakultas pendidikan yang berorientasi di bidang pendidikan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK). Teater JAB UAD Pentaskan Naskah Kebebasan Abadi taman budaya yogyakarta

Teater Jaringan Anak Bahasa (JAB) yang merupakan teater Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI), Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) pentaskan naskah “Kebebasan Abadi” karya C. M. Nas di Socitet Taman Budaya Yogyakarta pada hari Senin (25/07/2011) semalam. Naskah ini dipilih oleh JAB karena konflik yang ada di dalam naskah banyak pesan moral yang memberikan masukan bagi kehidupan manusia.

“Ada beberapa persoalan yang pelik dalam naskah itu. Sebuah kebebasan yang sangat absurd dan menjadi pertanyaan bagi khalayak. Tentang sebuah arti kemerdekaan yang sesungguhnya dalam diri manusia? Dan menjadi sebuah pertanyaan, apakah bangsa ini sudah merdeka secara penuh? Pertanyaan-pertanyaan seperti itu sampai sekarang belum bisa terjawab dengan tuntas. Bangsa Indonesia di usianya yang ke-66 tahun ini belum bisa ‘merdeka’ dengan sesungguhnya, belum bisa menjadi bangsa yang bebas. Hal inilah yang akan diangkat oleh JAB pada pentas semalam”, Ungkap Joko selaku sutradara saat ditemui di sela-sela kesibukannya mempersiapkan pementasan tersebut.

Restu selaku Pimro (Pimpinan Produksi) menyampaikan bahawa pada pementasan kali ini melibatkan orang-orang baru yang dibimbing oleh para senior kami. Jadi kami benar-benar melingkar dari angkatan yang terdahulu hingga angkatan sekarang. Adapun para pemainnya adalah: Nasirun Badrun sebagai Kapten, Ichsan Yunianto Nuansa Putra sebagai Sersan, Rachma Nur Jannah sebagai Sri Kandi, Aji Firmandi sebgai Letnan, Ahmad Mundakir sebagai Kopral. Sutradara Joko Mardiko dan asisten sutradara Latief S. Nugraha yang didampingi Hari Leo AER dan Anes Prabu Sadjarwo.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The second conference, CogSIMA 2012 continues and expands the research domain on situation management that was established by the first conference CogSIMA 2011 held in Miami, Florida, USA. The aim of this conference is to provide a venue for presenting scientific results of interdisciplinary studies of complex, heterogeneous dynamical systems that include humans, physical systems, computer agents and networks of such systems whose behaviors depend on situation. Examples of such systems include human-controlled and monitored ad hoc communication mobile networks, social networks, physical and cyber security systems, disaster monitoring and recovery systems, epidemic monitoring and control, intelligent transportation systems, financial and investment services, and tactical and operational battlefield command and control systems. Common to these systems is the need to adequately perceive, reflect and act according to the situational changes happening both in the surrounding world and within the systems themselves. The amounts of information that needs to be processed in order to derive decisions overwhelm both the human cognitive capabilities and the computer processing power. Consequently, there is a need to develop new situation awareness and decision support approaches of augmenting the cognitive capabilities of working collaboratively humans and computer agents.

These agents, both humans and machines, are faced with collaborative solving of various problems: (1) selecting which data is relevant to the objectives and actively requesting or searching for additional information, (2) integrating disparate data sources into a coherent information representation and a consistent model of the world, (3) inferring relations among various elements of the model, including prediction of the future states of the world, (4) assessing uncertainties associated with decisions, (5) learning new models and/or model elements, (6) valuating particular current and/or future states of the world according to some metrics, (7) identifying desirable states of the world, selecting actions that could lead to the desirable states. (8) communicating and interacting with other agents, and engaging into the process of collective situation awareness and decision-making.

While this process is complex, it is further complicated by the fact that each of the steps mentioned above depend on the situation. A specific item of information is relevant in one situation but is irrelevant in another. A given model of the world is adequate in one situation, but is not appropriate in another. A given set of logical conditions implies a given relation holds in a given situation, but not in another situation. A given state is desirable in one situation but is harmful in another. A given sequence of actions leads to a given state in one situation, but not in another.

The solution to the above-mentioned problems requires multi-disciplinary research that addresses at least the topics listed below.

    SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

    All papers must represent original and unpublished work that is not currently under review. Each paper will be reviewed by at least three independent referees. Papers will be evaluated according to their significance, originality, technical content, style, clarity, and relevance to the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to attend the conference.
    Two types of paper submissions will be accepted:

    –  Oral presentation paper (max. 8 pages): a research paper describes new results that advance the state-of-the-art in basic or applied research.
    –  Poster presentation paper (max. 4 pages): a research paper describes a work in progress

    Submitted papers should clearly indicate on the first page the submission type. Authors of accepted papers will need to sign an IEEE copyright release form and present their paper at the conference. The conference proceedings will be digitally published by IEEE Communications Society and will be included into the IEEE Explore Digital Library.  All paper submissions will be handled electronically in EDAS via the CogSIMA 2012 submission page. Authors should prepare a Portable Document Format (PDF) version of their full paper in 2-column style (main text in 10-point size) including figures and correct margins. Dikti Meloloskan 23,7% Bantuan Seminar Luar Negeri Tahun 2011 Periode V

Dikti telah melakukan seleksi ketat terhadap 76 proposal dalam program Bantuan Seminar Luar Negeri Tahun 2011 Periode V pada penerimaan proposal tanggal 27 Mei -1 Juli 2011. Dalam seleksi tersebut hanya 23,7% atau sebanyak 18 proposal yang lolos syarat dan ketentuan yang ada, sehingga kedelapanbelas pengusul proposal tersebut dapat melakukan persiapan untuk melakukan presentasi di acara seminar luar negeri yang telah ditentukan. Adapun kedelapanbelas pemakalah yang berhasil lolos dalam seleksi tersebut adalah

Dikti Selenggarakan Seminar Hasil Penelitian Strategis Nasional 2011

Penelitian Strategis Nasional telah selesai dilaksanakan oleh para penelitia yang berhasil lolos, sebagai bentuk pertanggung jawaban, peneliti wajib mempresentasikan hasil akhir penelitiannya pada “Seminar Hasil Penelitian Strategis Nasional tahun 2011”.

Hari ini Senin, 25 Juli 2011 bertempat di Hotel Millenium yang beralamat di Jl. Fachrudin 3 Kebun Sirih, Jakarta, dengan nomor telepon (021) 2303636. Seminar berlangsung selama dua hari hingga Selasa, 26 Juli 2011, pembukaannya akan dilaksanakan pada hari ini pukul 14.00 WIB.

Sedikitnya ada 200 peneliti yang harus mempresentasikan hasil-hasil penelitiannya. Dari 200 peserta tersebut sebanyak 19 peneliti berasal dari Yogyakarta yang didominasi oleh peneliti dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) sebanyak 9 peneliti, selebihnya terdistribusi ke beberapa universitas, antara lain, UNY sebanyak 4 peneliti, ISI Yogyakarta 2 peneliti, UII, UMY, USD, dan UTY masing-masing 1 peneliti. Secara keseluruhan penelitia terbanyak berasal dari ITB (18 peneliti), disusul UNS (15 peneliti), ITS (13 peneliti), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (11 peneliti), Unair (10 peneliti), UGM (9 peneliti), dan sisanya diperebutkan oleh beberapa perguruan tinggi yang tersebar di Indonesia. PBI Lauching Sparkling 2011

kemahasiswaan PBI Lauching Sparkling 2011Rabu (20/07/2011), Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (PBI), Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), luncurkan Sparkling. Sparkling adalah majalah mahasiswa yang diterbitkan oleh Kelas Jurnalistik Program Studi PBI di setiap tahunnya. Majalah sparkling merupakan sebuah media kreativitas nonakademis yang menampung segala bentuk aplikasi teori jurnal akademis perkuliahan di kelas.

Acara yang diadakan di Hall Kampus UAD II, Jl. Pramuka, No. 42, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta ini dibuka langsung oleh penasihat proses pembuatan majalah, Bapak R. Muhammad Ali, S.S. Dalam sambutannya, beliau menegaskan bahwa media majalah yang telah lahir sebelas tahun silam ini sangat membantu dan dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa sebagai media berekspresi.

“Pengajaran di kelas sangat terbatas. Mahasiswa membutuhkan media untuk mengembangkan minat bakatnya di luar keakademisan. Sebagai kelas Jurnalism, majalah Sparkling adalah media yang tepat. Setiap tahunnya majalah ini diwajibkan terbit. Di samping kebutuhan nilai akademis, majalah ini adalah wadah bagi mahasiswa yang mempunyai kemampuan di bidang tulis menulis dan desain grafis. Karena nilai akademis bukanlah segalanya. Yang terpenting, bagaimana kita bertanggung jawab atas nilai yang kita dapatkan”, paparnya.

Setelah mahasiswa menginjak semester 6, kelas Jurnalism merupakan salah satu kelas yang wajib diambil oleh mahasiswa PBI. Kelas lainnya adalah Kelas Pengajaran dan Kelas Drama.

“Ini adalah bukti eksistensi kami sebagai mahasiswa Jurnalism. Melalui media majalah Sparkling inilah kami mengembangkan teori yang kami dapatkan di kelas. Kami berharap apa yang kami cerna di kelas dapat tersalurkan lewat majalah yang sudah memasuki umur lebih dari 1 dasawarsa ini. kita bukan robot-robot sistem yang harus terpenjara oleh Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK). Tapi kita adalah roda penggerak yang menyelaraskan antara nilai dan aplikasi hasil nilai tersebut.” tegas H. Wicaksono, ketua panitia yang di bulan Juli ini akan menyandang gelar sarjananya. (IHS)

DPR Menyetujui Anggaran untuk Pendidikan Dinaikkan Sebesar Rp 11,7 Triliun

Berdasarkan rapat diskusi antara Kemdiknas dengan Komisi X DPR RI yang membahas tentang anggaran APBN-P (Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara – Perubahan), bahwa DPR mengusulkan untuk dinaikkan menjadi Rp 11,7 trililiun dari Rp 11,3 triliun yang diajukan oleh Kemdiknas. Anggaran tersebut dikonsentrasikan untuk mentuntaskan delapan pokok masalah, yang di antaranya pencapaian sasaran RPJMN 2010-2014 dan RKP 2011, mencapai  dan melaksanakan arahan Presiden untuk merespon keluhan masyarakat, peningkatan daya tampung dan daya saing pendidikan tinggi, percontohan percepatan pembangunan pendidikan di daerah tertinggal. Selain itu, untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter bangsa, serta pembayaran kekurangan tunjangan guru dan percepatan sertifikasi.

Terutama untuk beasiswa, bantuan khusus murid (BKM), dan pembangunan ruang kelas baru (RKB). Turut dianggarkan sebesar Rp 2,9 triliun untuk beasiswa miskin atau subsidi biaya pendidikan.
